Luís Damas, nasceu em Portugal em 1961.
Dançou no Ballet Gulbenkian de 1982 a 2001, onde foi 1º bailarino, trabalhando com inúmeros professores e coreógrafos de renome internacional. Desenvolveu simultaneamente a sua carreira como coreógrafo, tendo criado bailados para o Dutch National Ballet, Ballet Gulbenkian, entre outros. Participou em diversos concursos nacionais e estrangeiros quer no âmbito da interpretação/ coreografia, quer no âmbito do vídeo, tendo ganho já vários prémios. Desenvolveu a sua actividade também na arte de ensinar a dança.

Danced in Ballet Gulbenkian from 1982 to 2001, where he became the 1st dancer, working with innumerable teachers and coreographers of international reputation. It developed its career simultaneously as coreographer, creating dance for Duch National Ballet, Ballet Gulbenkien, among others. It participated in diverse national competitions and foreign as much in the scope of the interpretation/choreography, as in the scope of video, having profit already some prizes. It developed its activity also in the art of teaching the dance.
